Maybe it is and mine was defective or incomplete.2. It does kink and tangle. As I’m jumping rope, the rope gets twisted at the end.3. The padded hand holds made jumping rope awkward. I know this is a weird metaphor, but I like sports cars because let you feel the road through the suspension and steering wheel. In contradiction, a luxury car leaves you feeling detached from the raid. So the soft handle doesn’t work for me.
