How does the door opener work if the lever is still in the horizontal position latched?** A: I needed to remove the catch in order for the opener to work, the opener holds the door closed so the catch isn’t required. I believe there was an electronic catch optional mentioned in the units instruction. **Q: Please explain- if used on an exterior door, does this replace the function of a door knob that locks?** A: We suggest using our electric lock together with the automatic swing door opener, then can not manually open door after knob lock is closed, you can order the complete unit on the listing:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08R88699S?ref=myi_title_dp **Q: Are the handicap push switches wireless?** A: Yes. They are wireless. The box comes with options to do it both ways. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Excellent Product with an excellent service department. *by on Reviewed in the United States November 7, 2025* We bought this opener from Amazon in March of 2020 and I am reporting it has worked flawlessly since the day we had our handyman install it. It was an ADA requirement for our church when we bought our building and we didn't have anyone that needed it at the time, but everyone has gotten older and now it's used constantly and always works. We didn't catch in the directions that the outside transmitter should have a cover over it to protect from the rain, so after 5 years the batteries started failing after a couple months (usually they last at least a year or more), so I contacted Sara at Olide, and their service has been beyond excellent, and was personal and friendly. We are very happy with this unit and the quality is superb! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good auto operator *by on Reviewed in the United States December 15, 2020* Fairly easy to install. Programming could be easier but customer support is good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Great and great customer service. *by on Reviewed in the United States March 8, 2020* I bought two of these systems for the front doors of my business. They work just as advertised. The directions /installation instructions are easy to follow. The customer service is also wonderful because one of my wireless door receivers were malfunctioning. They are sending me one with no hesitation after I showed proof of my Amazon Receipt.I would recommend this product because it works like it is advertised and if it doesn't the company is willing to help you resolve the issue. ## Frequently Bought Together - Olideauto DSW120 Swing Door Opener/Closer Residential/Commercial,Automatic Residential/Commercial Door Opener/Operator+2PCS Wireless Handicap Push Buttons - Olideauto Electric Strike for Handicap Door Opener,Stainless Steel DC12V 880lbs Electric Lock NO or NC Lock Adjustable,Automatic Swing Door Lock --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/139882192-dsw120-swing-door-opener-closer-residential-commercial-automatic-residential-commercial](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/139882192-dsw120-swing-door-opener-closer-residential-commercial-automatic-residential-commercial) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
