It is very light weight and easy to use. It heated up incredibly fast and and the trigger only needs a light pressure to get the glue through and melted. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't leave any drips hanging while sitting. It also has a stand that keeps it off the table and safe. Even when the glue just melted, it was safe for me to touch it, to press my gems in. The pack also comes with a ton of extra glue sticks, a great plus.
