Koi are mostly vegetarian. I believe your cichlids are probably carnivores or insectivores. I would be concerned that this formula would not provide them with the proper nutrition. They make specific cichlid food, and I would stick to that. It probably would not hurt them to feed this food short-term or in a pinch.
