It is refreshing and aids concentration, making it particularly helpful for meditation practice and relaxation. The Japanese word "Ko" means Nice, "Bun" means Elegant, and "Boku" means Wood or Tree. Kobunboku is an expression of the Plum Tree, and has a sweet smell reminiscent of plum blossoms. Box contains approx. 250 sticks, each 14cm long Review: this is by far the finest quality incense i have ever purchased. - almost every other brand of incense available at american stores gives me chemical sensitivity allergies but this one does not! the smell is elegant, subtle, long lasting, and well balanced as no one note stands out too much. the lingering smell is just as nice as when it is burning. the box is aesthetically pleasing as well. this is my first purchase from this brand but i don't think i will ever use anything else! Baieido is known for a long history of quality incense and these were my first from them. I love to burn this one with the windows open on a warm spring day as it speaks to the flowery scent that I get from these sticks. While not overly complex, it's still nice to have a consistent scent that doesn't offend those that would be turned off by heavier aloeswood or medicinal herb scents found in some other sticks. I recommend this to everyone.
