This expeller pressed, completely unrefined peanut oil has a smoke point of 320 degrees, similar to olive oil, nowhere near refined peanut oil which has a smoke point of 450 degrees. **Q: Is this oil unrefined ? only filtered with all the nutrients and fatty acids intact ? Thanks** A: No this is refined almond oil, right there in the ingredients section, and it NOT good. **Q: Does your peanut oil come in a glass or plastic container?** A: It is a Metal container and if this question is based on whether or not the oil takes on the flavor of the container it is stored in, we have had an old bottle sit hidden behind other things for quite some time in our pantry and we used it with no noticeable flavor change.
