Im from the great state of Texas where it is practically mandatory (just kidding) to carry a knife as soon as you can walk - we won't go into handguns...but I believe generally if the blade is under 4 inches it's okay - please check in your state. **Q: is this knife made in america?** A: Mine doesn't show a "made in" description. It does inform that the blade is Chinese steel (so most likely the whole knife is made in China). Although the price is higher I would recommend a benchmade as the quality seems also to be higher (just bought the benchmade for my wife and she won't change with me) **Q: I've had this knife for about 6 months and love it, What are your guys best ways of sharpening the blade?** A: Norton Abrasives IM313 Pro Multi-Oilstone Sharpening System. Been using mine since ~1986 and just replaced the stones last year (2021). I live in Massachusetts?** A: I looked into this and it is strictly an AMAZON thing. They block these sales mostly to NY and MASS. You can read up on this with a simple internet search.
