The ribbon that came with it is cute; the only real complaint I'd have is that it didn't have any sort of thread fabric loops on it so the ribbon doesn't quite stay in place. This is a really easy fix if you want to either sew part of the ribbon in place on the back part of the skirt (the waistband is elastic so you probably don't want it sewn in all the way around) or if you have some black embroidery floss you can tack in place in a few spots to create your own belt loops. But even still, just out of the box it's still a nice fit.
