I used that and all sorts of other "lighteners" on age spots for weeks and it did next to nothing. The only thing that worked was laser therapy. This serum works very similarly. It irritates the skin and makes the spot even darker (which is scary) but it brings the pigment to the surface and after a while it wipes right off! Takes just a few days. I'll be honest. It stings. In fact, it burns. A lot. (much like laser). But if you can stand it, you should be more than happy with the results. It even removed a birth mark I had since...well, birth. If you have sensitive skin, this is not for you. If you use too much to soon, you will tear some skin off. It is hard core! But if you're desperate and sick of do-nothing overpriced potions, give it a try. It exceeded my expectations.
