The ipad is sandwiched between the front and back of the case - good amount of shock absorbing protection on the back and all round the sides, and a raised front on the case. The fold over front offers the screen some protection while not in use. An added bonus is the flap folds up to make a stand while watching/using the ipad.Not sure if the flap will with stand the heavy handed use of pre-teen girls, but the actual case holding the ipad defiantly will.I would however say at £18-20 it’s a little over priced, I would have liked to pay £15, at £12 it would be a bargin! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy duty protection *by M***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 July 2019* This is a well made heavy duty cover. The fact that there are 2 sturdy elements that clip either side of the screen means that the screen is doubly protected.
