It was easy to brush at first, but I noticed a couple days of playing with it and the ends were starting to look ratty. I told her to brush from bottom up, like your own hair, but idk if she is really doing that, lol. She did use a electric curler on it and the hair didn't melt. I think the messy ends may be from that or it's just lack of care on our part. It came with an easy to assemble vice grip so we can anchor it to the table. I do like that the face isn't too creepy, most of these seem to be! And the face is fairly plain so if she wants to do makeup there's a decent canvas.
