Also there is no getting it back into the cover it comes with. Be careful with the straps as well you miss hooking it properly and it shoots back in the face lol it hurts! My car (BMW 535i) is almost entirely smooth along the bottom side edges and there was almost nowhere to anchor it to. Ultimately anchored the sides by looping through the door handles since it only covers down to the bottom of windows. Had to hook it into my lower grill in front which was a tight fit and could barely get them loose when attempting removal because of the tight fit of the hook.. It probably works fairly well since most hail damage would be to the top of the vehicle as opposed to the sides which would be almost parallel to the hail depending on strength and direction of wind. Just very hard for me to get anchored.. There is nothing hard in the pad so I am worried about tennis ball-sized hail. But for smaller hail I'm sure it will be great. It covers my old 3 Series BMW well.
