It's adorable in my sewing room. My brother put it together for me which I very much appreciated. It's cute, functional, and I'm glad I have it. However, having said all of that, I do think the price was high. The material is not solid wood but I do believe it is durable. I suspect the cost included the shipping rates...especially because the boxes were heavy. (It arrived in two boxes). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great addition *by D***T on February 5, 2014* Love this table! Received this table as a Christmas gift. Easy enough to put together but would have been easier if the holes on one end were on the right side. We were able to put it together without having toe call for replacement parts. It is a great addition to my seeing room. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Super Cute but The Price is Not Right *by M***N on August 17, 2017* This sewing cabinet does look nice once all assembled. It's really cute and is a great addition to my sewing room. I've marked it down two stars, thou, because it really doesn't seem worth the price. It's particle board for one thing and not real wood. The second thing that makes it seem lower value is that the drawers do not slide easily-- the drawer sides/slides are plastic and so they don't have a smooth close. Lastly, the drop table for the sewing machine only has two settings: Fully up or fully down: You can not customize the level.
