I needed a stronger signal downstairs, so I got a Verizon wireless extender. The extender uses MoCA and requires its own coax cable, so I had to split the TV's coax cable. This splitter worked perfectly. It was cheaper than Verizon's version and it has the same (minimal) signal loss. ### ⭐⭐ May cause a problem with signal to cable modem *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2020* I splitter I got is the balanced kind, -6dB on each tap. This seems to have caused an issue with my cable modem and the cable company said it normally needs to be unbalanced with a -3.5dB tap for the line to the cable modem. You may be able to use this one with no problem. But it didn't work well for me.
