Review: works great! - Bought it last year and used it a couple of times over the summer to make popcorn while camping and it worked great. We used it over a campfire most of the time. One time we even used it with the heat from the chimney of a chiminea. We had no problems with the black coating coming off as reported in other reviews. It heats up quickly, so you don't need a real hot fire and never had a problem with the handle becoming too hot while in use. If you enjoy camping and popcorn, I would recommend this item.
