Seems to be a nice thick gauge and the connectors are of good quality, so I'm confident they'll take a beating without issue. Sure they aren't fancy in any way, but no one's checking out your speaker wire anyways. Review: dissapointing - ultimately very disappointed with this purchase. These cables were used once/month, 10 months/year for a year and a half, (plus 10 other uses) under very light duty conditions. (indoors, PA system for monthly club meetings) One of the cables has already failed. Suspecting the jacks, I inspected them, but they were fine, continuity checks repeatedly failed. Turns out the wire itself is very high gauge >22 awg and it seems to be broken/separated in many locations down the cable. Light tension pulling on jack, the strands separated less than 2 inches down in the insulation (see attached picture).
