Saved my skin problems. *by A***H on 2 January 2024* The media could not be loaded. For so many years I have seen numerous GPs, Private Doctors and Dermatologists to try and help with my ongoing skin flareups.After being given countless medications and topical treatments it only made the problem worse.I read online about some light therapies being effective for certain skin conditions, but I couldn't afford to pay for the full course of treatments they offered.Instead I decided to invest in my own lamp so I could do as many sessions as required.I didn't have high expectations for a home device, but was willing to give anything a try. I was so depressed about my skin I couldn't go out.Once the lamp arrived, I made sure that I fully read up about everything before getting started.The device is so heavy, I was too nervous to hang it on the door. I ended up just resting it on the floor in my bedroom.I decided to use both the Red and NIR settings together for maximum benifits. I started off with 5 minutes for the first day and gradually added an extra minute each day until I reached 20 minutes.Then I stuck to doing 20 minutes each day for about 6 weeks. I know that some people do 30 minutes, but I found it quite hot sitting by the lamp for an extended time.I was so shocked at how quickly I was noticing the results in my skin clearing up as the days and weeks went by. I wasn't sure if it was in my mind at first, but I took before and after pics.By 6 weeks of use my skin was so clear it was like I'd never had a spot in my life. My complexion was glowing, and mum couldn't believe it either.I gradually stopped needing to use the lamp so often and then just did tops occasionally.What I have noticed, is if I go for too long without using the lamp then my skin starts to deteriorate and go back to how it was with painful spots appearing.I then end up having to start from scratch with improving my skin.This device has changed completely my life, but it certainly requires patience, dedication and commitment.*A word of warning: Don't get too close to the lamp with long hair, as I ended up having a huge chunk of hair ripped out by the fan at the back.It was my own fault for drying my hair in front of it after the shower. But it can be deadly if you're not careful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ nice bit of kit! *by P***Y on 27 July 2022* I was very surprised at how sturdy & well-built this unit is. The pulley system is necessary in order to put it up to do the top body but I have to warn it is really heavy.I use it on the bottom half one day & the top half the next. Too soon to say if I notice any difference as only been using it for just over a week.It was really well packaged and hopefully it will do everything that red & NIR lights are supposed to do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Too heavy for me *by A***R on 5 September 2023* Nothing wrong with the item, but it was too heavy and awkward for me to handle and postion conveniently, and was really larger than I needed.
