He has worn it since the first day it arrived to include in our pool with the waterproof case! We love the bike mount feature and my son has already taken a few videos of his rides. The automatic turn off feature to save the battery life is appreciated since the battery lasts about a solid 2-3hrs if using it constantly. I would def recommend keeping the silicone cover on at all times since the screen is a little flimsy and to protect from dropping. The photos are basic but helps free up my iPhone and iPad from all the photos my kid likes to take! Overall, it’s a great first camera, a little on the small side, but perfect for little hands.
