No more moldy car smell! *by S***C on May 1, 2015* Ok I was a little skeptical about this, but we use similar products in our home, so wanted to give it a try. I'm a mom, nonsmoker and don't have pets in the car, but I take my daughter to/from school. My car has seen better days. I'll often find old cheerios, spilled milk, sand, dirt, and even get that moldy smell when it rains. I decided to give this a try for a few days to make sure it works to purify and freshen the car, especially since my daughter (4-years old) has asthma and is sensitive to some odors.First, it comes in a very pretty box and looks beautiful. I'll try to upload photos, but it's kind of nice having the calming blue light while I'm stuck in rush hour traffic. Also, the seller was very responsive. I wasn't exactly sure how to ensure that's working besides plugging in. He told me that I should smell the ozone scent. I decided to leave it in the car a few days to see whether I noticed a difference...Woohoo! It did!Apparently this one is the strongest on the market which was a good choice since I need all the help I can get. Keep in mind that you can't plug in your USB devices, but that's ok since you only need to run it for a short period of time. If you're a smoker and have pets, you'd be crazy not to buy! The others just can't compare. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This single product will put the auto & home "air freshener" industry OUT OF BUSINESS! *by D***X on February 9, 2016* A year ago I inherited a fifteen year old truck from a family member that had passed away a year prior to that. His dog went everywhere he did in it and keeping the truck's interior clean wasn't exactly at the top of his priority list. During the last year I have spent a lot of time and money on heavy-duty "air fresheners," sanitizers, odor eliminators and all sorts of gimmicks that only masked the smell. Nothing worked. Not even Ozium.I wish I had known then about this product. It would have saved me a lot of hassle. I ordered it not really believing it could work on this smell but mostly just hoping that it might help at least a little. When it arrived on Sunday afternoon, I immediately plugged it into the dedicated (always on) "Power" 12-volt receiver in the truck and let it run. Monday morning I got in the truck to go to work and THE SMELL WAS ALREADY GONE!!! It took less than 24 hours to get rid of a smell that I could not get rid of in a year of trying!It's like I suddenly have a new truck. I am telling everyone I know about this awesome product. Why isn't it in every auto parts store and major retailer across the nation yet? Pure Ionics, you could own the market. Especially if you make a wall plug-in version that can be used in the home. There are legions of consumers who would break down your doors to have a product like that to rid their homes of cat-box / pet odor / smoking and other offensive smells. I knew it wasn't in my head ... *by M***G on April 15, 2016* I was extremely skeptical about this product. I was thinking before I bought it that clearly this must be Saudo-science marketed very well but nontheless FAKE. But I am going to eat my own words. It WORKSHOP. I sometimes, I said sometimes. LOL smoke in my car. After several weeks of using it, my car smells clean and no trace of cigarette. Last week I had my father in my car and I asked him to take deep breaths and tell me HONESTLY what he smelled?? (Note I had been smoking in car the night before) and Lo and behold. Father said, I don't smell anything. Great!! I knew it wasn't in my head or the Placebo affect. Just remember. They did tell me and I did note, that this IS NOT an air fresher that simply adds SCENT to your car. This just kills the bad air. Nothing more nothing less. Also, many have commented that the top part (where blue lights are at) is flimsy and broke off right away. All I can say is return it; you got a defective part. But having studied statistics in college. I know that for any given product THERE WILL ALWAYS BE a % that WILL BE defective. It's just a mathematical fact because no production process or event can operate at 100% of the time and still also produce 100% perfects parts. So YES!!! Be a good consumer and do read all the reviews, specially the bad ones. But also consider if the bad parts are anomalous or systemic to the product and an indication that this company just straight out is putting out JUNK? I myself, first thing I did was investigate the tightness and overall feeling of the part(s) for any sign of defects and I found none. I have been taking it from one car to another (thus giving it plenty of chances to break) and so far it is holding and working very well. And I am very satisfied with the product.P.S. Why not 5 stars you ask?? Well, I don't believe that mathematically NO product(s) is perfect and is built and then works 100% always. So for me the top review is 4 stars because I have yet to hear/read/ or lean of ANY product is 100% all of the time.Thank you.
