Their not-so-secret ingredient is pickle juice/brine and this works just fine. I didn't want to buy a huge one-gallon jug of pickle juice from a competitor that has to be refrigerated after opening and takes up valuable space in my refrigerator, so these 8 ounce bottles are very convenient.I prefer the taste of Vlasic dill pickles to any other pickle and this pickle juice passed my taste test. If you prefer more of a Claussen taste, this may not suit you. Give it a try, before you decide.I like martinis and now that I have this, I'll give it a try in a cocktail. I understand pickle juice has holistic uses.
