It was exactly what I wanted. I put it over my dining room table and the length was the perfect fit. The instructions were unclear as to how to shorten each individual pendant. They were very hard to pull to shorten. I thought there has to be an easier way. After looking the fixture over a little closer and reading the directions over and over again thinking I missed something. I noticed a little set screw on each pendant up by the base. After loosening the set screw it was very easy to pull the cords to shorten them. There was no mention of the set screws in the directions. Because of the longer ceiling hood on the fixture I was able to adjust it to the exact location I needed. We also adjusted the lengths of the cords. A little daunting right out of the box.
