(Two seniors...) Our main first floor is only 1650 sf, with a full attic and a full basement. I synchronized both transmitters to the siren mode, installing the receivers in the kitchen, front and back bathrooms, and the basement. While we can't say why we need help, the siren, set aloud by the person in need, will alert the other that help is needed. (Last week I took a tumble in the front bedroom, yelling for help. Husband couldn't hear me because he was in the rear bathroom with the door closed and water running.) We each will carry the transmitter button on us while in the house. I also purchased two separate receivers - one for the attic and one for the garage.
