WARNING the putty that comes in the box goes hard very quickly after you knead the white and yellow elements together. You should have it all worked out and in the plastic mode in 20ish seconds --YES seconds-- when you get to 30 seconds it is hard and bouncy. The instructions are very clear but there is no second chance. I had to buy a replacement putty to try a second time. You have to send it to Opro (and pay for the post) but the mouthguard that comes back is just great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Once you adjust to it, it feels great! *by A***R on 28 April 2019* This night guard is slim and fits snugly, so I can actually talk (without a lisp) while wearing it. I was nervous about fitting it because I saw other reviewers had problems, but it was actually really easy. After fitting it, I only had to dip one edge in the hot water to readjust. It does take a period of breaking in though, so don't give up! I've had a couple of custom night guards from my dentist, at $250 a pop, and those needed time to adjust to as well. For me, it took almost a month before I could keep this or the dentist guards in all night. They can make your teeth a little sore at first, like if you’ve ever had a retainer adjusted. But after the breaking in period, it feels great. I had no issue with rubbing on my cheeks or gums like I’ve had with other guards. I’m hopeful that it will last longer than six months, and after two and half months, it isn’t showing any wear yet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable and thin! *by A***R on 28 April 2019* I was a little leery of getting this dental guard mostly due to the price. But I am glad I went ahead and purchased it. I have tried many dental guards in the past after being told by a dentist that I grind my teeth so much the surfaces of my teeth were all ground down! The price for the custom guard by my dentist was far too expensive for me to even consider getting. I have tried the moldable kind of dental guard before and I truly hated it. It was so bulky and uncomfortable.
