The color was really lovely and easy to use, but it takes some technique, so practice a bit first. I found it worked best using a little more than I thought I'd need, waiting a second or two before using the stamp, holding the stamp a while, and then waiting. Each invitation took about 30 to 40 seconds to really set well. I ordered way more than I needed. The description said each package makes 70-100 seals. We sent 125 invitations, so I bought 2 packages, but I didn't even finish the first package. We had a 1/2" stamp, so the seals weren't huge.We used heavy stock folders and these stamps held them closed, yet opened easily without tearing the paper. I was super nervous to tackle wax seals on my wedding invitations. We used them to "seal" our picket envelope (used double sided tape to hold it down & put seal over it). These worked PERFECTLY! Some tips--push some of the stick through in order to ensure no glue is left over in the gun because that will cause the stamp to stick to the wax. Let the glue gun heat up all the way. You should see heat coming from the wax when you lay it down. Obviously do a few practice seals. I dipped my stamp after every seal & YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE SEAL FOR AT LEAST 30-40 SECONDS! if you pull up too soon it will stick to the stamp. Overall, this was pretty easy. I ordered two packages, but only used one for about 120 invites, with a small 1-2 inch seal. Much easier than the melting wax beads. I used a regular sized glue gun on the low heat setting. The wax works perfectly and does not stick to the metal stamp. It dries and looks great, I sealed 70 wedding invites and they all looked so good.
