Review: Amazing & life-changing briefs! The search is over. - By far the absolute best briefs on the market! These are life changing and you the only regret you’ll have is that you didn’t start wearing these earlier! Over the years, have tried many different types and brands of underwear but for about the 25 years it’s typically been either briefs or boxer briefs. Boxers have had their time and place with the extra freedom they provide but most days I want the support and comfort that comes with briefs or boxer briefs. These briefs truly are the best of both worlds. The separate pouch provides the perfect amount of freedom while also not feeling like you’re free roaming. The boys still have the support they need but everything is not all jammed and cramped together like most briefs. The hole for the separate pouch is a quick and easy adjustment to get used to. Simply pull the briefs up and 95% of the time things slide right into where they’re supposed to go. Occasionally, you might need to help guide it in if your approach angle was off. The front flap of the outer pouch makes for easy access when using the restroom; certainly more useable than the standard fly that most briefs have. Never had any issues with any bits or pieces escaping throughout the day. A great perk of the briefs is the material is cool and lightweight. No more bulk or bunching with the extra fabric of boxer briefs or boxers. They feel great in all situations regardless of what’s over top of them (dress slacks, jeans, chinos, or jeans). Review: While the material on those felt very nice, the shape and sizing was all wrong on ... - To preface this, I am a 6' 1", 170 pound man, with what I would consider average "equipment". I've been wearing those junk "$10 for a 10 pack" boxers for roughly a decade now. One of the pairs I'd had for a few years had started to develop a large hole in it, so I decided rather than just buying the same thing again, I would investigate other underwear options. First I tried the Duluth Trading Company "Buck Naked" short boxer briefs and briefs. While the material on those felt very nice, the shape and sizing was all wrong on both, with not nearly enough space for "the boys", either absolutely crushing them, or forcing them to spill out. Plus, they cost the same amount as these briefs for a single pair! Next up, I tried the David Archy Trunks since they were highly reviewed on desertcart. I figured the shorter legs might not ride up like the boxer briefs I had tried as a kid. While the material was amazingly soft, and the separate pouch design ingenious, I found the legs on those still tended to ride up to much. They are great for wearing around the house in your pajamas, when you can readjust yourself without people looking at you sideways, and the ride up is still a lot better compared to actual boxer briefs, they still weren't perfect. So I figured even though I hadn't worn briefs since I was a child, I would try the David Archy briefs, since the trunks were so good. These things are underwear Nirvana. The separate pouch design means that the boys are kept apart from each other to prevent sticking and also provide support, but the incredibly soft and breathable fabric keeps everything ventilated and cool. Plus, the legs can't ride up, because there are no legs! Another plus for the breathable athletic fabric is that it never seems to get dirty. I wore these things for 3 days straight and they still smelled like they just came out of the dryer. It's like magic. From a comfort standpoint, these are the best underwear I have ever worn. I'm not sure if they qualify as "stylish", I figure most women probably prefer the look of the trunks, but from a comfort standpoint these win hands down. Regardless if you choose the trunks or the briefs, both of them greatly "enhance" the look of your package, not that I particularly care. The ONLY problem with these briefs that I have seen, is that if you sleep in them on your side, your balls will tend to try to slip out. If you sleep on your back or front this won't be a problem. It's probably healthier to sleep free-balling anyways. I've only had them for a a week and washed them once, so now the only question left is how long they will hold up. Based on the thinness of the material, I'm not confident they will last as long as my previous boxers, but this is a double edge sword since this thinness also contributes to their incredible comfort. And who knows, everything else about these is incredibly high quality, so maybe they will last longer than I think. Plus, even if they do wear out, the price is certainly right at $25 for 4 pairs.

**Q: How noticeable is the pouch?  Will they pass as regular briefs in the locker room?**
A: Unfortunately in my opinion they will not pass as regular briefs. The way the pouch is designed there is a flap that covers the "twig" as it were. The material kind of bunches at the opening so they do not look natural. Also the material, although comfortable, is completely different than regular briefs.

**Q: European here. i have a *hip* circumference of 91 cm (36"). the chart and reviews list *waist* though, so i’m confused. which size is right for me?**
A: I would say that a Large would probably work best for you if you like your pants snug, Extra Large if you like them loose. Just based on my having a 32" waist and having several pair of Medium that are just a wee bit on the loose side for me. "Waist measurement", by the way, is where your belt falls on your body -- look at the photo and see where the band goes around the model and measure the circumference of that spot on you - that will be your "waist" size. Hope that helps.
