My temps were a little on the high side when using CPU extensive applications. (i9 9900k) all cores running @ 4.7ghz.Read reviews about this paste, and decided to make the purchase. However, my temps ended up being about 4-6 degrees Celsius higher. I thought I may have not put enough, so I wiped it off, and reapplied - still no luck.Put the MX-4 paste back on, and temps went back down.Kind of disappointed, as I read good reviews on this thing, and hoped for the best. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best thermal pastes i've ever used *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 2, 2019* The temps on my i7 8750H in my Asus ROG Strix Scar edition laptop with the stock thermal paste started hitting core temps in the mid 90deg Celsius after only a few months after I purchased it. So first I contacted the manufacturer and they didnt seem to want to help so I decided to replace the stock thermal paste with reportedly the best non-conductive thermal paste on the market and I was very surprised at the results! My temps dropped 20deg C on the hottest core! Now this could have been a possible mounting issue with the cooler from the factory but given the temps gradually rose over a few short months Im pretty sure it was the junk stock thermal paste! Since I swapped it out temps have been great! Especially useful if you buy old systems and refurbish them.If you are a first time builder or if this is a "one and done" deal where you wont be building again, you wont need this much paste, get the small tube.Many coolers come with thermal paste included, some of which may even be preapplied, which is perfectly sufficient to handle whatever the manufacturer has rated it to handle, but not all coolers have included thermal paste.
