But this rich, gentle cream provides my skin w/ so much TLC! I can't believe I almost sent it back thinking it wouldn't work. I've been using it for 2 weeks now, in conjunction w/ the Enso facewash, & my complexion is so much more fresh & alive than when I was using an expensive department store line. I feel like products w/ chemicals in them only work for so long before your face starts fighting back. I am prone to black heads and clogged pores and this is the first face cream I've been able to use without causing more clogged pore issues. My face is so hydrated but not greasy or oily. My husband has red patchy pealing rosacea and this has been a great moisturizer for his skin condition. I mix this with a touch of tea tree oil just before application to enhance the antibacterial and anti fungal properties of this cream to keep acne away. My husband has had such good results from the regimen, that he isn't using the prescription cream anymore. His skin stays clear as long as he washes and applies this cream once every two days. I just finished my first jar of this, which lasted me a year. This is one of the best things I've used on my fussy, sometimes flaky, aging skin with mild rosacea. I ordered this after an episode where my skin reacted to something, I still don't know what, and I ended up with tight, red, itchy face. I went online ooking for something unscented,with simple, benign ingredients that I hoped wouldn't make me break out. My face was soothed the minute I put it on and was back to normal in two days. Since then I've been very happy with it as my daily moisturizer. It has a heavy body, more like a butter than a cream, and it absorbs well, with no sheen. I love the ability to rub a little extra on a flaky spot without creating an oily patch. The smell is faint cocoa butter and kind of raw leaf (the aloe?), very typical of products with lots of natural ingredients, and it fades quickly. I would rather smell that than strong perfumes any day of the week. It seems to be the only thing I can use on my neck and chest without breaking out. It does contain a form vitamin A, so be careful with your sun exposure when using it.
