Review: Love these clips! - Yes, they're cheap and can fall apart kind of easy, but you can also put them back together easily. They aren't meant to hold heavy items but they work absolutely perfect to hold plant stems, plant netting, Christmas lights and garland and 100 other things that I have used them for. I love that there are 2 sizes and find myself digging these out for all kinds of uses around the garden. They are out in all kinds of weather, I've been using them for years and none have completely broken yet. If the little wire comes off, just put it back on and keep using it.

**Q: How would these work on Blackberrie vines?**
A: I don't grow blackberry vines, however I use these for all types of tall perennials to attach them to garden stakes, and they work fine for that. What I like about these clips are that I can use either the small or the large opening for the plant stem or the stake. These are easy to clip to your clothing and then you have them ready to use when you are working with both hands holding, bundling, positioning plants.

**Q: Would these work to secure bird netting to flower pots to prevent squirrels from eating my seedling?**
A: HI Valerie  - I think that may work, but squirrels are strong enough and smart enough to just knock them off. If u drill a few small holes in the top of pots & use something like a key ring to attach netting....

**Q: will these clips work on the plastic coated metal stakes?**
A: i feel certain they will, but in case they slip because of the coating on the metal stakes, simply something like duct tape which has a fabric backing, tear or cut a small piece the size of the clamp (the part that would clamp to the stake) and attach to that surface. it should hold much firmer. good luck

**Q: are they good for ochids?**
A: They are good clips but smaller than I had hoped.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent Support for New Growth

These are acceptable for light support. They are designed for light support. The clips must be parallel to your support stake or wire or the clips could pop off. If you twist them they come apart, but they easily snap back in place. The clips are easier to apply than twist ties especially in hard to reach areas. They work best on flower stems and and new growth vines. The small size actually works well and saves time with the espalier of young fast growing branches on trees, Once the branches reaches intermediate growth the clips will need to be replaced with a strong tie to prevent them from falling off in heavy winds. Keep in mind these are made of plastic and will be come brittle when exposed to extreme temperatures over time. I expect they will last a year or two.
