Review: High quality item. - The gauge is very well made, nice solid brass fittings and appears accurate. The tube is a little stiff at first but is still easily manoeuvred into almost any position needed. I tried it on the car and the motorbike (which has a very awkward to reach rear tyre valve due to panniers etc) and had no problem gaining a good reading first time, and backed with a second test to check the consistency of reading, every time being exactly as expected. The unit is weighty and well protected with a hard rubber type housing around the meter making it less likely to get damaged if dropped. The glow of the display makes any dark areas still an easy tyre check without the need for a torch or work light. For quality, value, accuracy, and ease of use I could not ask for better.

**Q: Where is it made**
A: Not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure it's made in China? At least, that's where AstroAi is based. But I'm really happy with mine, after having cheaper digital gauges that wouldn't read consistently.

**Q: does it come with a certificate that it is accurate?**
A: TDH I can't remember, I don't think so. However the gauge is well made solid and accurate as I have tested it against various Petrol station air machines. Good piece of kit in my opinion.

**Q: Is the hose supposed to be that loose (wobbly) where it connects to round dial housing**
A: The black hose should be able to swivel, but there are two threaded brass connections that at either end of the black rubber hose that may have come loose. If they are loose it should be obvious. Tighten the threads hand tight. Be warned do not undo them as there are small parts inside.

**Q: Does this gauge attach to the valve stem or does it have to be held on**
A: No this gauge does not attach to the valve, there is no need. The idea and design requires that the gauge is simply pressed briefly onto the valve until it seals and displays the pressure reading. As the gauge is removed the pressure reading is retained until the reading is reset by pressing the release valve on the side.

Nicely engineered with solid feel. Robust construction. The connector to tyre valve is easy to use and the swivel head on the long brass tube allows easy access to recessed short tyre valves as found on low profile rims. The pressure dial would be easier to read if the digits were black on a white background. One downside was the packaged item as delivered had badly kinked rubber tubing due to the method of folding the tube into the box. Otherwise a nice item that should have a decent service life. Pressure readings appear accurate compared to other devices.
