I was looking for a clean version of an eyeshadow compact with green shades to replace a conventional drugstore version that I have, and this fits the bill perfectly. All of the shades are really beautiful, go well together, and have a nice gold shimmer. When I applied them, I first applied a powder eyeshadow primer, and then sprayed my makeup brushes with water before dipping into the eyeshadow (otherwise I wouldn't be able to get anything to stick on my eyelids). Using this method, I was able to get really nice coverage and blending and absolutely no creasing as the day went on. There was a little bit of fallout but nothing terrible. I bought the Mineral Fusion trio with blue shades and look forward to trying that as well. Unlike some other make up I have seen none are very shimmery. I don't buy glitter make up. **Q: Is this eyeshadow made in China?** A: Per their website here; https://www.mineralfusion.com/pages/about-us the answer is "no". Also, since this product is not tested on animals it could not be made in China as China requires all cosmetics to be tested on animals **Q: Does this brand test on Animals?** A: They DO NOT test on animals. I love their products. **Q: can you pull the metal part out and glue in different colors to make your own palate if you by 2 trio sets?** A: The colors are put into the palate pretty tightly. However, however I really needed a blue shadow for a special occasion outfit. For the price, this trio is perfect for brunettes. I wear all the colors together—blue on the lids, smoky gray at the outer corners, and white under the brow. It can be as sheer or as intense as you want it.
