Review: Essential reading for BAs - This isn't the most riveting thing to read, obviously, since it's basically a text book. However, it is essential reading if you're a BA. If you're just starting out in the field or intending on getting your CBAP or other IIBA certification, then you should read it start to finish to give yourself a foundation of knowledge / study for the exam. Otherwise, I still find it handy to have on hand as a reference guide. Need to refresh your knowledge of a certain technique that maybe you don't use often? Then read the section on just that technique. Need some guidance on setting up your requirements plan? Refer to just that section of the BABOK. Definitely recommended for all BAs.

This isn't the most riveting thing to read, obviously, since it's basically a text book. However, it is essential reading if you're a BA. If you're just starting out in the field or intending on getting your CBAP or other IIBA certification, then you should read it start to finish to give yourself a foundation of knowledge / study for the exam. Otherwise, I still find it handy to have on hand as a reference guide. Need to refresh your knowledge of a certain technique that maybe you don't use often? Then read the section on just that technique. Need some guidance on setting up your requirements plan? Refer to just that section of the BABOK. Definitely recommended for all BAs.
