I was much more interested in the mood enhancing effects than the libido stuff that Arrested Development has made maca famous for! The science behind this is interesting and people don't actually understand HOW it works on the libido as it doesn't work on hormones directly but it does pan out in studies.I liked this supplement to try maca because I was impressed by the quality and the brand. It was cool that they decided to mix 3 different kinds of maca, most maca supplements only have one and they have different qualities. In addition apparently the company works directly with the source in Peru, the capsules are vegan and there are NO fillers. I take so many supplements and it just sucks how many of them have fillers so I always give companies props for this. Their whole approach to this supplement seems intentional and stands out versus other Maca supplements or supplement sellers on amazon (and I review a lot of supplements!)That being said, neither I nor my husband noticed any effect from it, mood or libido wise. I'm finishing the bottle off as it's healthy for you but I'm not sure if I'm a maca responder. I don't think there's anything wrong with the supplement though and I don't have a strong response to many supplements that I take, but my husband can often feel supplements more strongly.
