You will want to ensure that the alarm has a direct line of sight to the pool, usually near a window overlooking the pool. If your pool is salt chlorinated than the range will be significantly less, sometimes less than 50 feet depending on the level of salt in the water. If you have a salt chlorinated pool that is over 50 feet from the house please contact us directly and we can discuss what your options are. **Q: what is the difference in the green and red bands?** A: The difference between the different color bands is that each color uses a different frequency to communicate so you cannot use more than one color wristband on a base station. Also please be aware that the red wristbands discontinued by the manufacturer a couple of years ago so any red bands will be fairly old at this point. **Q: how can i do if i want more brazalets. When submerged in water in one half of the pool the alarm worked perfectly. However, when we submerged it in water in the other half of the pool the alarm went off AFTER the wristband was removed from the pool. We tried relocating the base to several spots and several heights but were never successful and it continued to go off after the wristband was removed from the pool.
