I suggest washing them before use just to get the rigidity out of them as they are sort of stiff the first one or two times use. After I used them and got sweat on them plus washing them they softened up and fit more comfortably. One complaint I have is that the glued tips at the tag ends of the straps are a bit rough on the skin especially under weight, I was able to fixed that by trimming with scissors and using a lighter to melt it to a more reasonable edge.
