A hard push seats it. No leaks so far. Seems to hold more ink than 2 Dryden short international. Quality ink and performance. More ink and cheaper than the Dryden 24 pack, or close to it. **Q: what size is the bore feeder diameter? I need a little wider than 3.4mm** A: Please be advised that the feeder is 4mm. **Q: Will these long cartridges fit in a Scriveiner fountain pen ?** A: I don't know but I wouldn't recommend it. I used Parker cartridges in my Waterman pen and ended up damaging the pen.
