I half expected the hooks to be rough and feel cheap, but they're actually really nice. This set is a GREAT value. All of the hooks are good quality. The case is awesome for organization and keeping everything together. The plastic needles, stitch markers and scissors are basic, but helpful nonetheless. I also like all of the accessories that this set comes with. I wish I would have bought this set when I started crocheting a couple of months ago because it has everything that you need, even the scissors. My only complaint is the patch on the front of the case which is hardly a complaint, but rather a funny observation. The stitching on this patch on the front of the case is so bad that it's funny (added a picture). I don't know if it was intentional or a malfunction in the manufacturing process, but it's not stitched on the way that it should be. I'd rather not have the patch on the case anyways so that works out.
