I turn it on prior to putting my gloves on. **Q: I need clips to attach the cord to my loupes. How can Inget those?** A: I've used silicone instrument code rings or electrical heat shrink. Slide either up the cord first the over the earpiece and position as needed. I like the heat shrink as once in place the cord never moves. **Q: Can this attach to regular frames, not loupes?** A: The clamp of light is adjustable. It should be attached to regular frames. **Q: does it feel heavy on frames?** A: I don’t find them heavy at all. I’ve ordered and reordered these as they work well with my prescription safety glasses and they both weigh and cost a lot less than expensive loupes with built in lights.
