## Description

Product Description Who We Are Bigjigs Toys Ltd is a family run business, founded in 1985 in Folkestone, England. Liz and Peter Ireland are head of the family and together with their two sons, have created a global toy company which continues to go from strength to strength. Bigjigs Toys has grown enormously since 1985, but still remains family run. Liz and Peter are still involved in every aspect of the toy production, from the toy design to packing your order. Liz and Peter’s two sons, Sam and Tom, became Directors in 2017. Even grandchildren Arthur and Edith get involved with testing the toys! It really is, and continues to be, a family affair. Our mission is to deliver high quality, safe and affordable sustainable toys. We believe that children develop and learn best through lots of fun and exploration! All of our beautiful toys are lovingly designed in the UK and we work hard to ensure that our products are safe, long lasting and educational. High Quality Toys Our toys are manufactured using the highest quality materials available to create toys that will last for generations. Responsibly Sourced Materials Many of our toys are made from rubberwood. This is a hardwood that would normally be discarded after latex production, making it a sustainable choice that doesn't compromise quality. Designed in the UK Our unique toys are designed in the UK at our HQ by our Creative Team and are packaged carefully to prevent damages and give great in store presence. From the Family “ Child development is key to our product designs. With both Peter and myself having a background in teaching, we try to ensure that our toys promote learning through play ” Liz Ireland

Review: Lovely - Well made easy to use good instructions
Review: Pretty and fun - but not easy. - Why did you choose this product over others?: It was the pretty colours! Fortunately I had a go myself before introducing to a very competent 5 year old. The ‘pin’ is blunt (safety first) which made it difficult to manoeuvre the wool to make a stitch. The wool tends to split. We will use the big plastic needle from a sewing kit instead and I think it will be fine. I think the age range should be 5+.

Brings back many memories I enjoyed showing my granddaughter how to use this a long time ago, her 3 yr old daughter is starting to learn how to this one, Great value, very colourful, excellent for play time without the use of tv. Everything you need is included to get you started. Enjoy it together and have loads of laughs.
