I got call 2 hours later and car works fine again. Do yourself a favor, depending on the phone you have, buy a bluetooth OBD 2 from desertcart that will work with that phone and use that to check the engine light. Will save you time and money if you know what the problem is, the error code that accompanies it, and a google search to find out how to fix it. I made the mistake thinking it would be plug and play. I had the dealer program and it works great. Still less expensive tha buying from the dealer. But, if you haven't already had your car control systems scanned for codes, you should do that first and find out if any codes that come up can isolate the shifting problem. You could have a mechanical problem with your transmission. And, if you did replace your current TCM, you would still need to take it to a dealer to have it programmed to your cars options codes. Each car has what is called an RPO ( I believe that stands for Regular Production Options) that is programmed into it's system at the end of the assembly line.
