It works great for finding addresses and it is waterproof in case it is raining. I just left it in my car and would stick it out the window and shine it on homes to see addresses. It really helped. As I recall you can't use it when it is on the charger, however. But I would only turn mine on when I needed to see an address, so it would last a whole shift until closing then I would charge it when I got home overnight. It never died on me. Very bright and focused light. However, I would never be a pizza delivery guy again. How does the old saying go, "Never bring a flash light to a gun fight" hehe. I don't know a pizza guy who hasn't been robbed. I was robbed at gun point, and needless to say it wasn't fun. Your life isn't worth the job. But the flashlight is great! I can tell you it isnt 2200 lumens at 10 watt **Q: What is the beam distance?** A: Not sure about the distance but it is light up the dark good. I live in a wooded area far for the city lights it gets good and dark here! and lights up as far as I can see clearly and it has two settings high and low low works good to. I have a old Qbeam Max Millon ll 2,000,000 candlepower and it is a lot heaver and don't get half the distance that the Stanley go.I buy it again. Used to buy spotlights based on candle power & I knew nothing about lumens. Was worried this light wouldn't give me the distance & brightness of the beam. Took a chance & bought it & received it today. After charging it for an hour or so as per instructions I waited for it to get dark out to see what the light has. Its a foggy night in Tennessee & fog is so thick visibility is almost nothing. To my surprise this light cut right through the fog & is INSANLEY BRIGHT. I had no problem lighting up the whole coop/pen area & the woods beyond. I stepped out on the deck & pointed it towards a clear cut powerline & saw glowing deer eyes for a mile. This light is a keeper & more than enough for what I needed in a light. Which is once a week the dogs bark at the door & we check the chickens by walking back there with a flashlight. Sometimes late sometimes in the rain. Not anymore. Can now more than light up the area from the window or back door & take care of buisness without leaving the deck should there be an intruder or problem. This light has one heck of a bright beam, again insanely bright. Not sure what the lumens/candle power conversion is but in the past I had 2,000,000 candle power spot lights & this light is far brighter & throws a more narrow beam so it will carry brighter light farther. I guess technology makes everything better including spot lights. It is half the size of the old maxmillion type spot lights. It feels sturdy & durable & I wouldnt be afraid if I dropped it or got it wet on the rain.
