Most of my purchases have been for fun or sexy play wear. Thongs, cheeky briefs; styles that I may wear alone or under other clothes - but definitely intended to come off after a time. This pair however was purchased with the intent of being a home workout short. I am wearing these alone with just a pair of sneakers. I wanted something short and sexy - I like to be inspired during my workout. These could not be worn to a public gym - at least not in my area - but the cut and style would not look out of place at a beach or pool. Just realize there is no lining, so they might be very revealing when wet! This underwear is very soft and breathable. There is some movement because of the length of the leg - I find that they do pull or bunch up very minimally towards my crotch - but because of the lightweight fabric it is pretty much immeasurable by the feeling - you have to look to see them slightly gathered. Really is a non-issue. Another plus - but also minus, see below - is that these shorts are not tight. I am surprised by that because I did size DOWN. I have been burned in the past buying off brand undies - I have found that other past styles run large. I purposefully bought these as Mediums expecting them to be a little more snug than they are. They are fitting perfect for my home workout needs.Small complaints- two small issues I have found: First - one thing that does run large is the pouch. I am definitely of only average male endowment. The pouch size on these could definitely accommodate someone twice my endowment. Definitely not a comfort issue, just a personal issue. Read this as plenty of space for movement. The second issue - and this is probably again related to my physicality- is related to the statement above about how these are not tight. I do find that I am periodically having to pull the rear of these undies up throughout my workout. But full disclosure I am of muscular butt definition. I have a nicely rounded rear end. So although this short is stretchy and flexible I do find a little bit of awkwardness- and maybe that is the way I am wearing them (too high?) or just related to my body. I hope that the small amount of elasticity in the waistband does hold up over numerous washings but I do have my doubts. Definitely not a deal breaker especially when working out at home - but I have not tried wearing these for their true purpose as daily underwear.In closing I am in love with these briefs for my purposes of home workout. They are light, VERY comfortable and super sexy - especially in the brighter colors.
