Most sewn goods come from huge corporations that outsource the manufacturing overseas. These sheets are well made, and attractive. The literature that came with the sheets is in broken English, and doesn't make much sense. "Ultra Soft" is not quite correct. The sheets are actually a bit rough, and really hold the heat in. They are not "glossy in touch." I am doubtful that the cotton sourced for this product is 100% organic, or that the fabric was processed in such a way that preserves it's organic qualities. After all, just washing organic cotton in most detergents will contaminate it, much less dying it. But overall, I am content with my purchase. It is so hard to know exactly what you are buying these days.
