Went to tilt the sunroof and POP! SNAP!! and back to the way it was before I “fixed” it, not wanting to close completely, having to force it shut,etc. ...Basically the design from Ford is junk. The parts fit together too tightly in the tracks, so the mechanism binds while operating and the cheap plastic parts break.What is really needed to correct this issue is an IMPROVED kit of repair parts made of either steel or even zinc or aluminum OR plastic pieces that don’t fit so tightly in the tracks and drag so badly while the system operates.This kit and all the other Chinese repro kits are nothing more than copies of the original, INADEQUATE factory parts that break so easily.For anybody wanting to take a chance on this task I would HIGHLY recommend taking a few extra hours while the sunroof mechanism is out of the truck and very carefully hand fit the individual sliders to their respective tracks with a file so they slide back and forth more easily. Otherwise, you WILL be wasting your time...So, on my truck I just closed it up and won’t have a sunroof... ### ⭐⭐ Ok but Fell Well Short of Expectations. *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2019* I had to reuse both of the original rail pieces that have the arm attached to them. There is a part of the assembly that holds a rain gutter from side to side with one Phillips screw on each side. The after market parts in this kit were about 2mm too small and since it was plastic there was no way it was going to work. There is also a lot of slop in the new parts after they were installed which makes adjusting the glass impossible. One if the screw holes that holds the glass was not tapped properly and stripped. Basically this kit keeps my sunroof from flopping but I have had to block the roof closed. Would definitely order from a different company. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Designate plenty of time if DIY *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2019* I have a 2010 F150. The repair kit installed perfectly! There are no instructions on how to install it. So, I recommend finding a YouTube video for guidance. Also, if doing the repair yourself I recommend having a friend or friends help.
