After researching scooters I chose this one for a number of reasons. First, it has a seat, which I thought may be important if she couldn’t learn to coordinate her movements while standing. Second, I loved the wide deck with the brake in the back. This gives her a lot of room for her feet and she had no trouble learning to use the brake. Finally, I love the fact that this scooter has four wheels (two in front and two placed closer together in the back) for easier balance. Bonus: The wheels light up! My child learned to ride in a day and was able to scoot at the park (see video) on day two. I highly recommend this scooter for young children or children who have special needs. Over July 4th all the family came over and every single kid loved this scooter. It was easy for them to adjust the handle on their own and the brake paddle was in a location where no matter their size they could read it. My 2 year old is still a little small for it, but he figured out if he stood on it my 10 year old niece would just push him around on it - which was just as fun for him. The light up wheels made this super fun for them once the sun went down. The quality is awesome and it's super sturdy.
