The only additional items needed for mounting the headboard to the frame were (4) 1 1/4” machine screws with nuts. I was able to do it all without any assistance. I did decide to purchase headboard stoppers that will arrive tomorrow due to a baseboard that doesn’t allow the headboard to sit flush against the wall. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase. Carriage bolt 5/6 x 1-1/2. Code AHA. Nut: ABC, washer: ABB. **Q: So, if there’s no wall mount kit, can you attach a cleat to the back of the headboard for wall mounting?** A: I attached the headboard directly to the wall. Looks great! **Q: Would i be able to add buttons?** A: I don't think so, unless you glue them. Too much padding. **Q: what do they mean by the top of the headboard can be 45.5" to 53"?
