If the ledge is deeper than 9 inches of water than the Chair will become buoyant. **Q: Do you have to let the water out of the chairs and take them out of the pool every time you shock it?** A: No, shock doesn’t seem to have any effect on them and we have them in white. Thanks** A: I am not familiar with a pool liner and exactly how it sets and how thick the material is. I have two of these ledge lounger chairs 0-9 inch in six inches of water on my plaster tanning ledge. The chair material is very smooth hard polyurethane or plastic. The lounger has to be filled with water to weigh it down and keep it from floating. the bottom of the chair is smooth and the screw in plug is recessed. I filled the chair as the directions called for with pool water, but allowed only enough water in, to weigh the chair down so it did not move. The chair once water was in was still light enough to be moved or lifted a little by me, and with two people no problem to lift the chair out of the ledge onto the edge of the pool for cleaning or storing if gone. If the pool liner can withstand a 200 to 250 pound person sliding their feet along the liner, then I believe the chair will be okay. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I Love these. Easy to maintain if you know what you are going. *by S***T on May 19, 2025* We are doing a HUGE yard remodel and these are perfect for my baja shelf. I dont have a problem with them staining in my salt pool as I brush them at least once a week when the pool is cleaned. They are easy to move around in the pool if you take your time and let the water work for you. I want to get the underwater stools when they come on sale so I can add the extra touch to setting. ### ⭐ Uncomfortable and they float *by K***R on August 25, 2023* These loungers were filled to max capacity with water and will still float all over the pool. They are too heavy when filled to drag in and out of the pool. They are too large and deep so sitting in them on a shallow tanning ledge in the pool means you have water from your knees to your neck. These were so expensive and are completely worthless. Now they are uncomfortable awkward loungers sitting NEXT to the pool. So unhappy...Also, once they have been in the pool for a time the plastic screws become soft and unable to be opened again without dragging them out and drying the in the sun. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Luxury Resort in the Backyard *by E***H on April 26, 2022* The media could not be loaded. These pool loungers will make you feel like you’re at a luxury resort. They’re very comfortable and were easy for my handyman to get all the bubbles out and filled with water. Delivery was actually early. I ordered on 3/30 and they arrived on 4/4 but weren’t supposed to be here until 4/8-4/18. So that was a pleasant surprise. I got the cloud color and it seems to perfectly match beige. The chairs are comfortable and I’ve received a ton of compliments. Now don’t get me wrong, they’re expensive, but so is everything else that comes with being a pool owner. However, I found that going through Amazon even with the additional $200 freight charge was the cheapest and fastest way to get them. So do yourself a favor and splurge!
