The quality is obvious. I use them to support my 15" Acer 4 pound laptops. Being so solidly built allowed for a larger ventilation area under the laptop and also allowed for the down firing speakers to remain uncovered. Easy for transport as it folds flat and can be slipped into a laptop case pocket. Nice rubber grips on the bottom prevent laptop movement while typing or using the track pad. Laptop, open or closed is well balanced on this stand. Great trouble free units worth the price asked for them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't believe I didn't get one of these stands earlier *by T***S on November 28, 2019* After seeing a guy using a laptop stand at Starbucks, I decided to get one for myself. This stand seemed to fit the bill, strong and made of excellent materials. After using it for a couple days my neck and back feel much better and I can't believe I didn't think of getting one of these before. No more slumping over the computer and easy to take anywhere. My deciding factor for purchasing this laptop stand, was the amount of available air flow allowable underneath the laptop through their design . I only wish they had a model that accommodated a 17". I knew the parameters and sizes when I purchased this but I could not find a suitable design that was specifically geared for a 17" laptop.
