They’re super durable, complex enough transitions to keep them entertained without frustrating them and I haven’t had a single one break after nearly a year of play! Got them for a 4 year old but now a 5, 4 and 2 1/2 year old all play with them together. No finger pinches and the paint still looks great. These are all boys and they play hard so these passed the mom test. They are expensive but if they’re gonna play with them for years, it’s worth it. They’re a nice medium sized transformer so they are easier for little hands to handle without needing a lot of dexterity to move the parts.

A: Medix is sold separately by himself. These come in a 4 pack like the original Chase, Blades, Boulder and Blaze.

**Q: Can a 8 year old play with this?**
A: Yup but probably better for ~4-6 years in my opinion.

**Q: What is country of origin ?**
A: It’s mixed due to Hasbro moving factories around Some are made in Korea some in  Vietnam some in Hong Kong And some in Australia and UK

**Q: How to open toy?**
A: It depends on which one it is. My 5 year old transforms all the ones he has himself. They don’t really open they just transform into robots
