Review: Works as advertised - Takes a little practice, but there's plenty of how to videos on YouTube. I've been using it to go over all my motorcycle fairings. Using the mold also takes practice but you can definitely re make broken tabs. *tip* manufacturer video says to heat the mold on my a hotplate or stove- if you are not careful you can ruin the mold. Better drop it into a mug of water an microwave it. The powder/resin works like magic!! Sandable, drillable, it's like making new plastic.
Review: Worked like a champ! - It may not be pretty, but it worked! My Garmin 645 Music had a pin retaining hole break away and I had no way to keep my watch band secured. I got this plastex repair kit in black to match the color, and after a quick mix of the activator and the powder and dabbing the mixture onto the place where the break had occurred with a toothpick in place to keep a pin hole open, it was fixed! It took 30 minutes for the plastic to fully cure and I’ll be sanding it later to make the repair blend a little better, but this stuff was gel, and now it’s as hard as a rock and firmly adhered to the original plastic! I’ll post again later after it’s been exposed to a few shocks, but for now, I can whip my wrist, rap the counter sharply with the watch, and even pull gently on the band without the plastic breaking. If you have a small plastic repair you need to make, don’t hesitate. This stuff works well. Follow the instructions and make sure to get the right color. White, Clear, or Black.

**Q: how long is bonding time**
A: Depends, but mostly a few seconds.  Oversaturation of the powder or having a large amount of it will cause more time to be needed, and it is advisable to build the product up if it is a large repair, roughly sanding between applications as you go to ensure bonds are good.

**Q: Can this be used to repair a broken spoiler?**
A: It depends on what material the spoiler is made out of.  For example some are made from AbS,Urethane or fiberglass so it will. It will work on all the hard/rigid plastics and will be just as strong (if not stronger) once repaired.  If it is a more flexible plastic like polyethylene you would need to use Plastex 3000 instead.

**Q: Will this work on a play set slide**
A: I'm sure it will works on most plastic. I use it on my motorcycle fairings

**Q: Will this work on a crack in plastic on a RV?**
A: I have used it quite successfully to repair the plastic bumper cover on a car. Filled in a missing piece the size of a softball, remolded mounting tabs, and filled in cracks. Pretty sure it will work on an RV. Also used it to do major repairs on my motorcycle cycle bags.

Plastex repair kit works, but is expensive for the amount of money. This $16+ repair kit required $10 for shipping and handling (Even wiith my Amazon membership), which made the purchase $26. There was only a little amount, so it only repaired a small portion of my refrigerator drawer. I wonder if I should have just bought a new drawer for $62. Wish I noticed that I ordered black instead of clear. At least I can open my drawer better, despite it is still missing more edge
