I wasn't noticing any issues with it vacuuming, but a red light is a red light- and I didn't want it to end up dying on me- so I reached out to Eufy Support because the manual doesn't say anything about a solid red light with no beeps?BACK STORY: I had already had my Eufy 11+ replaced (purchased through Amazon and less than 6 months old) with the, when they sent me a refurbished replacement of the Eucy 11s. However, with it already being a replacement I only had a 90 day warranty on the newer robovac, and that ended in September 2019 (it was now October 2019- of course).RESOLUTION: Eufy Support emailed me back, with a couple of "trouble-shooting" suggestions and were quick to remind me that my 90 day warranty expired in September. Their suggestions included:1- cleaning the contact pins (already tried)2-trying another outlet (already tried)3- turn off the main switch and remove & reinstall the battery.During my research on the PROBLEM I found that Amazon sold replacement batteries that weren't too expensive (especially in comparison to the cost of a new robovac), so I decided to go ahead and replace the battery at the same time that I "removed & installed" it.THE FIX: ...it worked! The battery does not come charged at all, so I went ahead and let is run its morning routine on the "bad" battery. But once it had returned to the dock, I went ahead and followed the instructions that Eufy sent me on how to open up where the battery is kept (it's really easy... two screws and the battery is "clipped" in) and swapped out the battery... let it charge overnight... and it's good to go! -no red lights! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Made my Deebot N79S run like new for 1 month *by V***I on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 7, 2020* 2nd UPDATE - I reached out to the seller and they honored the warranty and sent me a replacement battery. I truly appreciate their customer service. I hope this new battery will last.UPDATE - like many others, it charged and ran fine for 1 month. My window for return ended on March 6th and as of March 20th, it will no longer charge completely. Changed my rating from 5 stars to 1.Although the seller doesn't list the battery as compatible for the Ecovacs Deebot N79S, many reviews stated it was an acceptable replacement. The battery connector was a fit and the battery charged as it should. I'm not sure how long a charge will last with this battery but today, it ran for the two hours needed to clean all my rooms and still wasn't in the red when it returned to the charging station.
